Daniel S. Kuzdro, 80, of Scranton, died Friday morning at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann Farrell Kuzdro.
Born in Scranton on Jan. 27, 1937, he was the son of the late Michael and Stella Brudzinski Kuzdro. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School, he was formerly employed by Wyoming Paint and the University of Scranton. He raised his family in the Hill Section and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
Dan was a kind, caring, loving, husband, father, grandfather and brother who provided endlessly for his family. He took delight in being outside in the garden and was meticulous in making his home look beautiful. Dan was a hard worker, a craftsman always doing his finest, who enjoyed painting and antiques. He possessed a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed telling stories.

Surviving are his six children, Daniel and wife, Deborah, children, Nicholas and Daniel, Moosic; Lisa Caramagno and husband, Angelo, children, Samantha, Alexandra and husband, Brandon, and Angelo, Shelby Twp., Mich.; Ann Peters and husband, Ted, Throop; Billy, Allenton, Mich.; Michele Luongo and husband, Salvatore Jr., children, Sophia and Salvatore III, Scranton; Jay and wife, Carmella, children, Ryal and Madison, Peckville; two siblings, Charlotte Kuzdro Kingsley, Garland, Texas; and Kenneth Kuzdro and wife, Lisa, Lancaster, a brother-in-law, Brother William Farrell, CSC, Valatie, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Conrad Kingsley, Thomas J. Farrell and John J. Farrell.
The funeral will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m., with a memorial Mass to be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 800 Taylor Avenue, Scranton. The family will receive friends for the hour preceding services, beginning at 10, until the commencement of services. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
