Scott A. Morgan

d. May 5, 2017

Scott Alan Morgan, 49, of Scranton, died May 5 at home.

Born in Elizabeth, N.J., son of the late William and Theresa Rollis Morgan, Scott was educated as a youth in the Elizabeth School District and would later receive his high school diploma in Pennsylvania. He served his country as a veteran of the Navy. Later on in life, he received his certificate for carpentry.

Scott enjoyed football, the outdoors, lottery tickets, reading, and had a love of history. An avid New York Giants fan, he had a love for life, along with a great love for his family. A kind-hearted and forgiving man to all who knew him, he brought a special joy to all; he was like a breath of fresh air, a ray of sunshine, in our lives. He will be deeply missed and always in our hearts.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Morgan.

A memorial service will be celebrated Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Frank M. Regan Funeral Home, 715 Linden St., Scranton. Arrangements at the convenience of the family.
